A Statement Regarding JD Wetherspoons

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

Following an incident of direct discrimination against one of our disabled members by door staff at a JD Wetherspoons, the Kindred Council of Heathens of Yorkshire have taken the decision to boycott all JD Wetherspoons establishments.

We will not hold any moots or events at Wetherspoons, nor will we as individual members of the council visit any of their establishments until such time as we are assured that Wetherspoons is a safe and accessible place for all our members.

We encourage all members of Heathens of Yorkshire, and anyone who wishes to support us in making Wetherspoons comply with the Equalities Act 2010 to join this boycott. If you would like to have your name or organisation added to the list of supporters below, email kin@heathensofyorkshire.com
